Coffee snob

I'm a self-confessed coffee snob and most days venture out with Lewis to grab one. I usually walk, so thought I would compile my list of favourite cafes within walking distance, with comments on how baby friendly they are!
There is, of course, the excellent website Hey Bambini! that lists all the baby friendly cafes in Melbourne. The only problem is that many of them serve crap coffee! And there also aren't many in Northcote/Thornbury.

So here are my favourites, in order (sort of):

• Northern Soul - ace food, amazing coffee
• The Kitschen Pantry - yum coffee, good outdoor tables
• Kau - plenty of room with simple food and yum coffee
• Penny Farthing - delicious food, good coffee
• Red Door Corner Store -courtyard is great for prams and kids, great coffee and food
• Miss Marmalade (Brunswick) - amazing coffee and very kid friendly

Baby friendly ones that have bad coffee:

• Aquarium
• Foxy Brown
